RateVantageGo ("RateVantage," "we," "us") operates a vehicle comparison and financing information platform covering the Auto, Commercial, RVs & Campers, Motorcycles, and Powersports marketplaces. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information consumers provide

• Registration: name, email address, password (stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider), and optional phone number.
• Saved activity: saved vehicles, vehicle comparisons, saved buying and financing scenarios.
• Inquiries: contact details, preferred contact method, questions, and appointment or test-drive requests you choose to send to a dealership.

2. Credit ranges and financing scenarios

You may enter a self-reported credit score range, down payment, cash available, budget, loan term, and similar financing preferences. These are used only to calculate estimates on your device and on our servers. We do not collect Social Security numbers, bank account credentials, or credit reports, and we do not perform credit checks.

3. Trade-ins, outstanding loan balances and negative equity

If you use the Trade-In & Negative Equity Calculator, you may enter your current vehicle, its estimated value, and your outstanding loan balance or payoff. We use these figures to estimate equity or negative equity and compare potential lender program limits. They are not shared with any dealership or lender unless you explicitly choose to send them.

4. Vehicle comparisons

Vehicles you add to a comparison are stored in your browser. If you choose "Send to Dealership," the comparison is shared only with the dealership you select, and only after you check the consent box on that form.

5. Dealer and lender information

Dealerships and lending institutions provide business contact details, staff names and work emails, licensing or business details, inventory, and financing program terms. Business profile information and published inventory may be shown publicly. Lender program details are used to calculate estimates; we do not display private lender notes to consumers.

6. Information shared with participating dealerships and lenders

• We share your contact information, inquiry, and any scenario you attach only with the dealership you select, and only with your consent.
• We do not sell your personal information and we do not submit credit applications on your behalf.
• Dealers receive aggregate, non-identifying activity reports (for example, listing views and saves).

7. Data storage and retention

Information is stored with our hosting and database providers in the United States. We keep account information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, security, and business record obligations. 8. Third-party services

We use service providers for hosting, database, authentication (including optional Google sign-in), and storage. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. Vehicle value links (such as Kelley Blue Book) open the third party's website, which has its own privacy policy.

We use strictly necessary browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your cookie choices. Optional analytics, functional, and marketing cookies are used only with your permission. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out of marketing and advertising cookies.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Submit a request using our Contact Us page and select the request type (access, deletion, correction, or opt-out). We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

RateVantage is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
